Defensive Driving Instructor Courses

DDC-Coaching the Mature Driver

Coaching the Mature Driver (DDC-CMD) addresses the specific challenges of drivers over the age of 55. As drivers mature, they must adapt to many technological innovations and learn to compensate for the physical changes they experience also.

Training goal

Learn how to train mature drivers to feel confident with their driving skills as they age.

Who should attend?

Safety managers, fleet managers, HR managers, driving school instructors and community service program directors should all attend this course.

Why should you attend?

Motor vehicle collisions are the leading cause of death from unintentional injuries for ages 55-74. Coaching the Mature Driver was developed specifically to teach older drivers defensive driving techniques and help them to adjust their driving styles as they age. Graduates may qualify for insurance discounts.
