The National Safety Council's 6-hour Defensive Driving Course is approved by Texas Education Agency for ticket dismissal. Completion of the DDC-6 TX course will qualify eligible motorists for ticket dismissal at their specified court, and may also qualify principal operators to receive a discount on their auto insurance premiums from their insurance company.

Who should attend? This class is open to candidate instructors who wish to participate in the 6-hour Texas Ticket Dismissal Program.
Why should you attend? The goal of the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course is to provide drivers with the knowledge and safe driving techniques to prevent collisions and violations. The course focuses on collision prevention through hazard recognition and application of collision-avoidance techniques. In addition, this course addresses common driving violations that result in collisions and how to change driving habits to eliminate moving violations.
